Version 2 (modified by Jari Häkkinen, 15 years ago) (diff)

Transferred Gregorys changes from old Proteios trac

Welcome to Proteios development site

The bugtracking system that we decided to use is called Trac. It allows any Proteios user to submit a bug report, or suggest a new functionality. Choose New Ticket and follow the instructions.

For source code version control we use subversion. Everyone is allowed anonymous checkout the project, but only developers can commit changes to the repository.

If you want to live on bleeding edge software, download the latest (maybe unstable) version through

svn checkout ! proteios

The latest stable package is found at Proteios packages.

Mailing lists

There are two Sourceforge hosted mailing lists for the Proteios project.

This list is the right place to ask questions about Proteios. It is also supposed to be a forum for discussion about desired features, comparison with other software, and so on. For several reasons, posting is restricted to subscribers only. Please browse the list archive before posting, as frequently asked questions probably have been answered already.

subscibe/unsubscribe list archive

This is a low-traffic moderated list and will only be used for announcements regarding Proteios, for instance when a new version is released.
