PRIDE 2.1 XML Export

Introduction

  1. Hits data related to peak list files in mzData format may be exported to PRIDE XML.
  2. Each export session exports data for a selected gel external id or local sample id.
  3. One PRIDE XML file is created for each mzData file.

How to Export Hits Data to PRIDE XML

  1. Select File -> Select project -> (List of projects) and select the project of interest.
  2. Select <Active Project> -> Reports -> Hits.
  3. Select Extensions -> PRIDE XML Export.
    1. Select gel external id or local sample id for hits to be exported.
    2. Select filter settings, combined search False Discovery Rate (FDR) upper cutoff.
    3. Select optional prefix for output filenames.
  4. Click Next - Select PRIDE Protocol File (Optional).
    1. If you want the PRIDE "Protocol" XML block to be copied from a PRIDE Protocol XML file, select a protocol file. The file needs to be in PRIDE Protocol XML format to be used.
  5. Click Next - Create export job[s].
  6. One PRIDE XML export job will now be created for each mzData file for the selected hits. Wait for the job(s) to finish.
  7. The generated PRIDE XML export files can be found in the project directory. The filename consists of the selected prefix, the base name of the mzData file (filename without file extension), and file extension ".pride.xml".
