public class ActionServlet
extends javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet

In a model-view-controller(mvc) model this is the controller. It handles GET and POST http requests. During initializiation an ActionFactory is created. Each request is scanned for a parameter(configured in web.xml as action.parameter.name) using request.getParameter(...). This class translates a HttpServletRequest into a valid action using an ActionFactoryInterface. Once a valid action has been obtained it's execution permission are verified using a PermissionController and then run accordingly.
